Madison's Soccer Team Wins Region!!

We spent Saturday in the rain and wind watching Madison play soccer. Her first game was at 9:oo a.m. I left Jim and Danika home, and took Ken to gymnastics. Madison's team won their first game in the last 10 seconds in double overtime!! It was so amazing!!

She then had the Championship game at 12:00. Jim and Danika and Kennedy joined me for the Championship game. Madison's team played Kearny Mesa (they played them the week before and tied 3 to 3). Kearny Mesa has really big girls with really big kicks!! Very intimidating to our little scrawny team. However, the "Energizers" played their hearts out and won 3-2. So we will be heading to either Orange County or L.A. for area playoffs in February.

We are so proud of Madison!! She saved many goals and kicked a ton of great corner kicks. She plays mostly Center-Mid or Center Defense and truly loves the game of soccer.

Jim threw his hat on the field when they scored their final goal of the game...he really gets into it!!
